They told us the war effort was noble. They told us the massacres of the 1800s weren't going to happen again. My God they were wrong.

I patched up holes in my nephew, my father my brother, even my sisters. I tended to the wounded and dying of all ages races creeds and colors.

I was a medic, forced into retirement now. Praise the lord. But i’m haunted. This Statement seems the best way to get this off my chest. But i fear i may still do something i would regret.

In 2045 the war broke out, we in the west were largely unaffected, as the union was more focused on the south. But as time went on, the thrill of war marched on us.
